Program Schedule

The Bachelor of Arts in Humanities & Social Sciences Online Degree Completion Program is structured in a manageable plan that allows you to integrate your coursework into your existing schedule seamlessly. You will take 17 courses and earn 51 units, which, in addition to previous coursework, will bring you to the total 120 units required to be eligible for graduation.

The program is cohort based and features a set curriculum. You will take each fully-online, 8-week course one by one, allowing you to earn your degree in just three years, even if you are fully employed. Each semester (Fall, Spring and Summer) includes 1–2 courses, and many semesters include courses that address related topics from multiple disciplinary perspectives.

Writing expository prose for non-English majors. Precision in rhetoric and development of individual style by concentration on matters of diction, audience, emphasis and persuasion. Meets upper-division writing requirement for approved majors.
