Transferable Credits

To see whether or not courses from your community college will transfer to Cal State Fullerton, you can use ASSIST, a database that houses the transfer agreements between all California community colleges and California public universities. You may also contact the CSUF Transfer Center Opens in new window or your community college’s counseling center for assistance.

Conditional Admission

In some cases, you may still be conditionally admitted to the program even if you do not meet the minimum unit requirement of 69 transferable units. Being conditionally admitted allows you to start in the fall, but requires you to complete missing coursework concurrently at another college or university in your area (some of these courses may be available online at Cal State Fullerton).

Out-of-State Applicants

If you are not a California resident, please view the state regulation page to verify your eligibility for enrollment. You may also contact the advising and counseling center at your community college for assistance. Note: these out-of-state regulations do not apply to those living outside the United States and its territories.
